A third person has been arrested in connection with the February 13, 2025, home invasions which occurred in Birdtail Sioux First Nation.
The Brandon Police Service (BPS) were able to locate and arrest 32-year-old Faith Bunn, who was wanted in connection with the February 13th incident. Bunn is charged with one count of Assault Causing Bodily Harm.
Bunn was released by way of Undertaking to appear in Virden court at a later date. The Manitoba First Nations Police Service would like to thank the BPS for their assistance.
The investigation by the MFNPS continues into the two separate home invasions which resulted in assaults of 3 male victims. We are requesting that anyone with information regarding these serious assaults come forward to police.

February 19, 2025 Brandon Police Service Media Release:
On February 19th at approximately 2:56PM Manitoba First Nations Police Service (MFNPS) requested Brandon Police Service (BPS) assistance in locating and arresting a 32-year-old female in relation to a MFNPS investigation that occurred on the Birdtail Sioux First Nation. Brandon Police located the female in the 1100 block of 19th Street where she was arrested on the strength of an endorsed Warrant of Arrest. She was then transported to BPS where she was interviewed and released by way of Undertaking by the MFNPS Police members.
